Managing Director
Prior to his current role at Carnegie Point, Mr. Parrish previously worked in RBC's Investment Banking Group in Charlotte, NC where he provided traditional investment banking advisory services for middle market clients (annual revenues of $10-$500 million) in buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, private placements, strategic advisory services, management buyouts, recapitalizations, acquisition financing and divesture opportunities.
Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Parrish worked within the Valuation Services Group (VSG) and Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) groups at Grant Thornton in Charlotte, NC performing detailed valuation reports and financial models for publicly traded, middle market companies and private equity groups across a wide range of industries. While in TAS Mr. Parrish performed buy-side financial due diligence for both strategic and financial buyers on prospective acquisition targets and prepared in-depth reports outlining the targets’ business models, quality of earnings, special accounting policies and the overall financial condition of the target company.
Mr. Parrish earned his Master of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Florida and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Michael Ruch is the founder of Industrial Timber and the world’s #1 expert on wooden furniture frame manufacturing. Through his 30+ years of experience running the largest independent frame manufacturing company in the U.S., Mr. Ruch has learned firsthand how to efficiently manage large-scale manufacturing operations (in multiple locations), efficiently distribute products and provide superior customer service.
Mr. Ruch stepped back as the CEO managing the day-to-day operations of Industrial Timber in 2017 after completing a private-equity backed majority recapitalization, but he remains as a shareholder of the company to this day. In 2019, Mr. Ruch partnered with Mr. Parrish and the Carnegie team, drawing on decades of entrepreneurial and operational expertise assist in business development, evaluation, and strategic advisory of M&A prospects.
Mr. Ruch is a lean manufacturing and six sigma expert with a deep understanding of commodity trading markets. Today, Mr. Ruch is a shareholder of Industrial Timber, Screaming Eagle Building Products, USA Outdoor Products, Vision Contract Manufacturing and Screaming Eagle Companies.
